NASA Scientists detect water in Neptune like distant planet

NASA scientists have confirmed  that Neptune like distant planet contains water. With the help of powerful and special telescopes a group of scientists from NASA have confirmed the chances of  water existence in that Neptune sized planet. They have concluded through a long study using such telescopes.

437 light years from our solar system

This distant planet named HAT-P-26b, which has been discovered by the scientists,  is filled with abundant hydrogen and helium and located about 437 light years from our solar system. And it orbits its star, and that star is assumed to be old two times older than our Sun. From their studies they have known the fact, unlike Neptune in our solar system it is some what closer to Sun and similar to our home planet. So, they  name it as Warm Neptune. The scientists have also confirmed that this planet atmosphere is relatively clear and though it is not water world like our earth there are evidences to confirm the existence of water.

Scientists Trying to Collect More Details

NASA scientists have started their deep researches on this planet and taken it as a good example for our earth like planet. The scientists are going to gather data  from transits occasions when Warm Neptune orbits in front of its star. Star light seems to be filtered after entering the planet atmosphere. From this phenomena scientists can collect more details about the planet atmosphere.
