By Launching GSAT - 9 India has become The Leader in Space Technology among SAARC Countries

A prolonged dream of Indian PM, Modi has come true after launching this satellite named after GSAT -9, the South Asia communication satellite by ISRO from Shriharikota of AP. The spectacular and successful injecting of this satellite was done by Geosynchronous Satellite Vehicle (GSLV -F09) into its orbit exactly at 4:57 PM this evening in good weather condition,

It's assumed as a gift fully contributed by India at a good cost of Rs. 235 crores for South Asian countries including Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives, Nepal, Sri-Lanka, India since this satellite can provide a wide variety of communication applications.

Unfortunately Pakistan which is also a part SAARC quit it self from the project and it seems that it doesn't need any form of help from India.

GSAT -9 fully configured and developed by ISRO to 1-2K bus standard weighs a total mass of 2230 Kg, and it has cubical structure with estimated life period of 12 years.

A good support for the participated nations by giving timely alert during disaster periods so that it can be helpful to reduce life and asset  damage.

Through this launching India can assure regional cooperation in the areas of space technology applications including broadcasting, tele - education, tele - medicine and also meteorological data transmission.

Apart from regional cooperation India can offer valuable services to its neighboring countries in areas like telecommunication. tv, technology sharing and so on.

Disaster management part of the satellite enable the prompt alerting during that crucial times. So, it can save SAARC countries from natural disasters like cyclones, tsunamis, earthquakes.

By the launching of GSAT -9 launching  India can reinforce its relationship and leadership among SAARC countries by providing these most valuable services that can save many lives and assets.
