Deluxe Pacman is based on an earliest arcade game Pacman developed and published by Namco in 1980. Though it looks very simple, Pacman has attained a great popularity in US and other parts of the world. We can find a lot of pacman like games in the game world. In this game, player will control a pacman appearing on the screen and allow to eat pac dots. When pacman completes all the dots, he will be taken to the next stage.
Blinky (Red), Pinky (Pink), Inky (Blue) and Clyde are four enemies trying to catch pacman. When pacman is caught by any one of the enemies, one life will be lost.
The game will be over when all the lifes are lost. At four corners of maze, there are four larger dots known as power pellets which make pacman to eat enemies. After an enemy is eaten, its eye will remain and return to the center of the box where it can retain its normal color.
In each stage the enemies will remain vulnerable only for a particular amount of time. The amount of time will be reduced as the game advances. We can also find many fruits at the bottom that can be eaten by the pac-man. In advanced stages enemies wont change their colors. It is understood that a complete play can be achieved when player makes possible scores in all 255 levels by allowing pacman to eat dots, power pellets, fruits and enemies.
