This type of camera is smaller in size and ideal for the beginners who might be in lack of experience in digital photography. Even a kid can easily handle this type as it doesn't need any special skill to take pictures. Some of this type of cameras are also provided with scene modes like beach, hills and sports. Here we can not change the lens or adjust the shutter speed. With this type of cameras  minimum experience in photography will be enough to take high quality photos.

Bridge Compact Digital Camera

 We can get here desirable exposure settings with the help of manual mode. We can not change the lens in this type as we can do in SLR cameras. The great plus in this type of camera is much longer zoom which is not available in other types. If you are a nature lover who want to zoom on distant animals, birds and trees, then it would be the right choice for you. The image sensor in this camera is comparably smaller than that of SLR camera.

Mirror-less Interchangeable Lens Camera

This one has all features found in SLR camera except that mirror system showing the scene going to be shot. Instead of mirror system they are using LCD screen to get preview of the scene to capture. This is only reason for being smaller in size when it compares with SLR cameras. Here also we can change the lens of the camera to get desirable quality pictures. The larger image sensors provided in this camera will be helpful to get good quality photos.
