Chess is the oldest popular game of the world. This is the board game that can be played by two players using the chess board containing 64 squares in a 8 by 8 grid. The board contains 8 rows (ranks) denoted in numbers from 1 to 8 and 8 columns (files) denoted in English letters a to h. Each player will use 16 pieces: King (1), Queen (1), Rooks (2), Knights(2), Bishops (2) and Pawns (8) and these pieces will be placed in the first two rows before starting the game. The aim of the game is to checkmate the opposite King through wise moves. The player has to learn many tactics to easily win the game.
